Growing up fat, you get made fun of for everything you do, even basic shit like eating and laughing and breathing are funny when you do it because youre fat! Kat Von D put in her post that she doesn’t want “unsolicited criticism” and used that as an excuse to delete peoples comments about how whatever she’s read on antivaxx has been debunked. She also deleted people’s comments who voiced that they themselves, or their relatives, literally almost died because of antivaxxed people.
but she’ll fight tooth an nail for animals not to be harmed. what the fuck
oh, the worst part? her newly wed husband started putting up “sources” on how being vaccinated is linked to autism on his instagram story after this whole mess blew up.
everything i’ve spoken about is still on her post (she stopped deleting comments) if you’d like to have a look at this mess. her instagram is “TheKatVonD” and it’s the post where she’s showing her baby bump.
i would like to take this moment to extend my deepest apologies to anyone that has Autism. a conversation such as this must be really difficult to handle, so i apologise that this is even a factor.
if it is true (since her husband has deleted his story) that these two people won’t vaccinate their child because of a DEBUNKED theory, such as vaccinations causing autism, that’s beyond fucked up. especially in 2018. especially coming from someone who preaches loving all beings.
being autistic is not a bad thing, and if first time parents would rather kill other children and put their own child in danger of dying all because they don’t want to have an autistic child, it’s their loss. all of these claims (of these two people being antivaxx because they don’t want an autistic child) have yet to be proven, but i know the conversation will come up. the “doctor” who brought up this theory had his medical license taken away years ago. why people still believe in this theory? i don’t know. it sucks to know that people are still so scared of autism, but please know that you are not a problem, no matter the insane lengths people will go to for their own children to not have what you or a relative may have.
so please don’t take offence to the actions and words of these two overly privileged people, who are so engulfed in their money that they choose not to see past their choices, no matter how many people tell them that it’s wrong.
